This shot was taken on the Pennsylvania Avenue Landfill/Natural Restoration Area. When I approached in an automobile the raptor had its back towards the vehicle but forgot about me in minutes. This juvenile Peregrine Falcon devoured a Laughing Gull and only the intestines remained on the artificial erosion control matting.
