This Western Kingbird was found at the Nicholls State University Farm by Billy Finney on 10/12/09. It took two days and three trips to finally document the bird. A group of 5-10 Scissor-tailed Flycatchers have been frequenting this location for the past two weeks. Billy and I saw three of the Scissor-tailed Flycatchers go to roost in a tiny crop next to the Forty Arpent canal on October 8th.
