Caernarvon Diversion- Flycatcher Hotspot

During February 2010, Glenn Ousset discovered a Tropical Kingbird, a Vermillion Flycatcher, and a few Scissor-tailed Flycatchers amongst the habitats along the Mississippi River's Caernarvon Diversion canal on the border of the St. Bernard and Plaquemines parishes in southeast Louisiana. Since his initial discovery two other uncommon flycatchers have been found in the immediate area.
