Photos from my trip to Big Bend National Park in extreme southwest Texas. This trip was organized and led by Pete Janzen, an outstanding birder and trip leader from Wichita, KS. This gallery is bookended with photos from the famous New Mexico migrant trap, Rattlesnake Springs, and the Cimmaron National Grasslands in Elkhart, Kansas. Our trip itinerary included our first birding stop in New Mexico before the Guadelupe Mountains and Big Bend National Park in Texas then ending the trip at the Kansas Ornithological Society's spring meeting in extreme southwest Kansas.
