Beautiful pictures!!! I live in the country outside San Marcos, TX and your scenes are quite typical and tastefully done. Growing up in the heart of a town I feel very greatful everytime I open my front door and view the country side. Be glad you actually saw a live skunk, now days the ones I see are dead on the road. However there are times when my dog is banned from the house due to the pungent skunk odor fumigating from her coat. I do believe there is a den near. Take more pictures please, you do a wonderful job.

Your pictures are amazing. I really liked the wagon wheel with the bluebonnets and the IMG_3912.jpg. My favorites are the ones at Willow City and Llano because we were there this year and saw the most amazing colors while riding our Harley. At one point I looked out to my left and thought I saw a lake down below - as we got closer it was a sea of bluebonnets.

Your pictures captured those memories.

Mr. Tweedie: Your pictures are most enjoyable. Thank you. However, as to the skunk being out in the daytime. I rather think that in most cases the skunk may be looking for food or water in the drought conditions of Texas. She could also be feeding her young.....To say most skunks seen in the daytime are rabid is not believable. Is this a scientifically proven fact or hearsay? Thank you, Jo Swann
