We started our holiday with our traditional visit to the Children's Preview Party at Christmas in the Oaks. City Park was devasted by Hurricane Katrina and this was the re-opening of the amusement park. This year's party was missing a few important elements, mold was found in the newly renovated century-old carousel and the train tracks are still being put down. We had a wonderful time showing the sights to our newest little one. She had a wonderful time. My husband and daughter did their traditional ride on the roller coaster.
