Trees Down

There were numerous roads closed and broken power lines due to many trees that toppled or snapped during the storm. The winds were terrible from about midnight until 3 am. You could hear the trees crashing. Amazing what 70mph winds can do.

Your Aunt Coleen is right. That Spanish moss still looks beautiful, but you have some clean-up to do. So glad it was not worse.

Wow! A can't believe the damage that small storm did. I'm so glad the projected path of Dennis has moved east though I am very sad for our friends in Okaloosa and Destin.

Good that there was no real damage but if your like me you hate that wind more than anything. I hope Dennis doesn't hit.

Lovely photo of Louisiana life, Elaine. No matter how bad things are the moss and oaks and cypress still make it look beautiful.
