Penny Jar

This is my husband's penny jar. He hates carrying pennies around in his pockets so he empties them each day in an old 2 liter 7-up bottle. The container is almost full.

Canon PowerShot A95
1/60s f/4.0 at 16.2mm with Flash full exif

Whew! I was afraid that this was the color my pennies would turn into. :)

You might be amazed at how much it adds up to. Nice green in 7-up bottle too & ideal for St Pat's Day.

This is wonderful. Green money is my favorite.

Perfect for today's dominant colors! I'm cashing in my penny jar soon - I probably have almost $100 in mine - it's been filling up for a couple of years.

I do the same thing, only with all my change. When I fill a gallon jar it is well over $300. Creative shot.

I forgot it was St. Patrick's Day. But then again, I'm not Irish. :) So does he have to roll all those pennies?

tend to leave change lying around - it never seems to accumulate!

I have one of those coin organizers, and almost have a bucket full of paper wrapped pennies, nickles, dimes and quarters.
Won't be long and I'll be rich!!
Or maybe I can just but a lens,,, sigh.

I'm curious to know how much he gets out of the bottle :)
I'm working on a water cooler jug, but its not just pennies,
Nice color to go with St Pat's, I agree.
