Each May, the Master Mariners Benevolent Association stages their regatta, primarily for traditional wooden boats, on San Francisco Bay. This year, we sailed on Gas Light, a traditional hay scow schooner, locally built of steel by Captain Billy Martinelli, and launched in 1991.
