Hi Paguio, I am using auto white balance. Yes , I have turned on the IS while taking this picture. If you have enough budget, I would highly recommend you to buy this lens. It can really produce high quality image. However, Tamron (17-50) is also good choice in term of price and image quality.

These are some amazingly clear, & crisp shots. Would you care to share the rest of the photo info. like white balance, exposure metering. Was IS of any use taking these shots? Finally, I'am considering buying this lens but the tamron model (17-50mm f/2.8) is so interesting because of its price. Might you also share why you think the Canon EF-S version would a a better lens to have?
