Rimbi temple is a Shiva temple, which contains the teachings Tantri relief carved on the foot of the temple. Presumably this temple was built in the middle of the 14th century, as a tribute to Tribhuwana Tunggadewi Jayawisnuwardhani who ruled Majapahit in the year 1329-1350. This allegation is based on the discovery of two statues of goddess Parvati, who estimated a reflection Goddess Tribhuwana. Both statues are now kept in Trowulan Museum and National Museum.
