Former tobacco, coffee and tea factory, this industrial monument is a fine example of International Style / Modernism. The use of conrete, steel and glass gives it a clean and spacious look that is still modern, even after 70 years.
Today it is used for a collection of companies in the creative industry: architecture, communication, industrial design, whatever.
Design and construction: 1925-1931 by J.A. Brinkman & L.C. van der Vlugt.
