Early morning is the time when you'll find the gulls searching at the edges of the water for their first meal of the day. During the summer the gulls regularly frequent the waters next to government docks and private marinas where they can feed on the remains left from the fish cleaning stations. Gull facts: Gulls are mainly scavengers, but they also prey on fish, insects, mollusks, crustaceans, worms, mice, young birds, bird eggs, seaweed and berries. ~ Animal Bytes @ seaworld.org
