Weekly Challenge #11 - Creativity

Southern Vancouver Island

Creativity: “Above all, we are coming to understand that the arts incarnate the creativity
of a free people. When the creative impulse cannot flourish, when it cannot freely select
its methods and objects, when it is deprived of spontaneity, then society severs”
-John Fitzgerald Kennedy

This week I challenged my own creativity. We went out shooting, came across some deer and took
several shots of them. I also managed to take one of those awful shots where the lighting was
challenging, the deer were gone, my settings needed adjusting and unfortunately nothing turned out
as I had hoped....it was destined for the delete button. Then it came to me, "What an
opportunity!"...now the challenge was to see if I could make anything out of it. Below is the
original, unedited image, above is the result of my creative endeavor.

The result is beautiful with the flowers in front of the posts.
I think sometimes something different than what we are used to is challenging. :)
