The young eaglets knew that lunch was on its way and they seemed to be eagerly anticipating the meal. A thrid eaglet was lower in the nest, however it appeared shortly after the parent landed. Eaglet facts: The chicks will be nearly full grown at 9 weeks of age. They will add some weight as they develop their flight muscles after they leave the nest.
