Columbine

Southern Vancouver Island

I saw two Columbine plants growing in the gravel along the edge of a quiet country road and had to stop
and try to get a shot of them. Columbine facts: Columbine plants grow from long carrot-like taproots,
which aid in making them drought tolerant, and also cause the plant to be more difficult to move once
established. ~ The Flower Expert
