Recent flood waters are receding in the Cowichan Region of Southern Vancouver Island, leaving pockets of water that dot the fields and marshes that have yet to drain. When the clouds parted, there was light (not too much sun, but light) and we took off on a tour through the area. This scene is one of many that caught my eye.
