On our 'Great Adventure 2009' we've spent a month in Yellowstone National Park, visited Teton National Park, the Red Rock NWR in Montana and moved on to south east Washington, visiting the Turnbull NWR. In all of our travels we've kept our eye out for the elusive moose, being assured by many that 'we saw one this morning/afternoon/evening', and we were always just a tad too late. Well irony does factor into things sometimes and on a dusky evening drive back towards Cheney, Washington, there it was a dark blob in the distance...as we drew closer we saw it ambling across the road and then off into the fields. We were so shocked that we were barely able to get our cameras out and ready to shoot. So, let me assure all of you who have been following our journey, "Bullwinkle is alive and well in Cheney, Washington!"
