With a cold slowing me down we decided to wander around Salt Lake City on our last day in town rather than go hiking during my June 2004 trip to SLC. We went to what is apparently the most popular tourist attraction in the city, Temple Square. This is basically the main compound for the Mormon Church and it was highlighted by some interesting architecture and artwork. The Mormon Temple was the center piece although we were unable to go inside as it is for members only. We were able to go into the Tabernacle building and also the office building which has a viewing platform at the top which gave us views of much of SLC.
