These pics are from two visits to Rainy Lake which is a nice medium sized lake up near Rainy Pass in the North Cascades. The first was in October 2004 under sunny but hazy autumn conditions looking at the lake right into the sun and the second was in August 2005 with foggy/overcast conditions. This isn't a hike but rather a short little walk on a paved trail right by the North Cascades Highway. The lake was your typical turquiose green glacial lake. Not much macro-scenery on this visit but I did get a few other pics of foliage, a creek and a bird among the various micro-scenery that I saw. The pictures:
