William O. Douglas Wilderness - Naches Loop

This October 2004 visit was my second to this little loop near Chinook Pass. The first time that I visited in 2002 was in August so it was just after snowmelt and with the flowers out and about. I only had a film camera with at that time and later on those pics were lost so I was eager to get some photos of the Naches Loop. This time I got a look at the area with the colors coming from Autumn foliage and with nice sunny skies which made for some photos like this:
