This trip was an early September 2005 visit to the Colville Indian Reservation in North Central Washington. Moses Mtn is an old abandoned lookout and is or was reputed to be the tallest lookout in Washington. It is a steel tower as is characteristic of the more modern lookouts found on reservation land and in the Eastern half of the state. Conditions were sunny and pleasant though the trail was actually a road that was a bit too rough for my car's liking. Unfortunately views were limited from the natural summit and while the views were undoubtedly better from the top of the tower the lowest section of stairs had been removed preventing an easy walkup.
