This is my favorite from this gallery and one of my favorites overall. A nice mix of the snow dusting on the evergreens, the lake with a little shroud of fog/clouds, the red band of color across the middle and the nice autumn brown of the grasses. A good mix of Autumn and Winter in one photo. I'd like to take credit for this turning out well, or I think it turned out well, but basically the scene made itself. This is one of those where you can see that it is going to be a nice photograph, and in a more general sense you just think to yourself that this is a really nice view that you are lucky enough to have at this moment.
