This shot was taken near Aasgard around one or two PM. Even though the sun was fairly high you can see the effect that the smoke had on the sky and even the sun. Not sure what the background ridge is, perhaps Dragontail Peak or something thereabouts. I prefer this photo in a small size without the detail of the foreground rocks. I think the two dimensional silhouette effect that you get with the higher ridge is much more appealing than the detail of the foreground ridge. This might even look interesting if it was photoshopped so that the foreground was down to a flat black color and sky had more of a saturated orange color.
