Aasgard Pass was a rather surreal place. Smoke was pouring in from the Colchuck Lake basin over Aasgard. Meanwhile an overhead cloud of smoke hung at about 10,000 feet. Flakes of ash from burnt trees fell like snow on us while we ate lunch. The surrounding peaks were like silhouettes through the smoke. The colors in the foreground are pretty similar to what they looked like, it did have that brownish pink cast. But you can see the smoke in the background. You couldn't see through the smoke at all in person but the smoke itself was harder to see in person.
