Not as old as me, but looks in much better shape. :-)
Everyone should be so lucky to be out where you'd need use of one of these. Nice to be able to live off the land, even tho' it can be tough. Not much of it left here now. Big farms owned by corporations, and family land turned to suburbs. About all most people know of farming is watching it on TV. I know it's different in some other places, but it was a way of life which allowed people to be self sufficent, and non dependent on others. Seems a shame when a country with so little heritage, looses what little held within it's short history. Not much left here to allow for a feeling of roots.
