From Ida (please answer on firstname.lastname@example.org)
Hey Eric Heather from RB, Just wanted to thank you again. Have a great day!
One word. Brilliant.
WQonderful collections. Thanks for sharing.
Loved the short visit and will return for another longer visit. What I've seen is very creative and original.
Best wishes Barry
Thanks for the forum help! Your people gallery was great fun to peruse.
Thanks for the input on the polar bears. I can agree on the ones you said no to for the calendar. As for removing the stone in the pic I guess i'm a bit of a purist and wouldnt do that, kind of get what you see. Of course its my own fault for not spotting it at the time, but time was precious. I took a brief glance at your gallery 5 million visits that is a wow. I'll take a keener look and try and get some tips! Nice shooting. Giles
Hi Erich, nice to hear that Dascha enjoys my animalgalleries :).I like the diversity and quality of your galleries and of course your refreshing posts in the forums.
Best regards Hans
Polar bears are my favorite animal, and this polar bear gallary is AWESOME!!!!! Nice work!
Thanks for the link to the Common Green Lacewing. I have seen their eggs everywhere but never seen an adult one before. Thanks for your other comments as well. You macro gallery is pretty impressive.
love your windows and doors gallery... i, too, love photographing windows and doors. you never know who has looked out of those windows over many years or entered and left from the doors.
I enjoyed watching some of your galleries. I like mostly the Poeple gallery which was fantastic and in many cases funny stories. Also in meaning of good photography the Orange collection amazed me.
I'll check the other galleries later.
I have added you to my favorit artists to see the future people photography from Vienna and aroud the world!
Part of one your comments in the forums..
"streets are full with weirdos, look for them "
Brilliant !..made me laugh so much!
First thank you for visit my gallery.

Hi Erich, thanks loads for the great comment on my Milk meets Coffee gallery.
You have outstanding work here, I've loved looking at your galleries.
Error in my previous entry---you commented here:

. The image you steered me to would be equally suitable here:
. Thanks for viewing. From what I've seen of your work, all I can say is WOW! ---Dave
your galleries are just outstanding!! there's so much cretivity, unique vision and a powerful way of expressing your own ideas. I will be back for more!
I wanted to thank you very much for having help me making other Pbasers to discover the "2CV Turbo-nautiques" races. Due to your comments and your message in the Pbase forum, this gallery is on the 2nd page of the popular galleries on a 7 days period ! That's the best position I ever reached in one year of subscription of the services of Pbase. Thanks a lot, it's a great pleasure for me ! Patrick
Hi Erich. Many thanks for your comment in respect of my "swimming 2 CV" ! As you did, I created a link to your "normal" 2 CV gallery. You had a great idea to do this !
This car was fantastic ! My father had one but I never hown one.
Great set of gallery you have created. I am sure it has taken you a lot of time and effort to put them together. Well done!
Also thank you for comments in my galleries. I know I have small images, this is to prevent and theft of images. But with all that, I discovered a local publisher using my photos on the cover of one of their publications.
But what i see now, is really FANTASTIC
Wonderful shots, fantastic subject
Amazing pictures ooooooooh :) congratulations for all this great captures and thanks for sharing with all of us :) from Spain...natalia
Hey Erich...isn't pbase an amazing place (despite it's little nuances ;-)) I came across you on the gif that you created for Scott this morning...and you have come here!! I have been away a few days so been trying to catch up on pbase and other chores...needless to say I have spent time looking at your work...for one you are very good at what you do...I only wish I could do gifs etc...and your images are great. I will be visiting to do more justice to what you do. Thanks for the visit..RGds, Kal
Erich, thanks for taking the time to put so many comments on my Myanmar gallery. You were absolutely right about the horn growing out of the girl's head - I can't believe I missed that!! :))
I enjoyed my tour of your galleries - you are unique!
Men! There is no signature from me here. How could that be? We have talked for years by now and still no signature. With you Erich, the impossible becomes possible :-)
Who is your Portrait in picture,i can no see this...!!!!
once is enough, francis, no need to write things twice :-)
i am a bit disappointed that you did not write in any of my galleries your creative line "nice gallery and picture ,regard francis" as you did it over 100x to other members - you don't love me, how can i survive this ...
i am not delete the comment, you delete the comment

Thanks for your kind comments on my galleries.
Best wishes for you and a very happy new year!
Nicole Meuwese-van Rhee
I didn't see your pictures for a while.
But now I had a little time to look at your picture's.
Especially the picture's from Dascha are verry nice.
She is growing a lot.
She is a big girl now, so lovely.
Greetings from Nicole...
Wonderful travel photography. Congrats! I woul love to visit Eastern Europe someday soon.
Probably you did not notice, but I was viewer nr. 4000.000 !!
What is the price ????? ;-))) "H"
I'm ever so grateful you pointed that out. Thank you, thank you.
Thank you for visiting and leaving your comment. Always impressive to realize that bigotry and anti-religious sentiment still rests just below the skin in so many Europeans. To think that Sadam had to bribe people in Europe when they'd have let him kill Jews for free.
Thanks for the comment on my image and the way to correct my gallery, I did not know the correction procedure, obviously...
Erich, you did a wonderful job putting together the newspaper with all my stuff on it, and getting it out where lots of people see it. Thanks, and keep up the great work.
Hi Erich, go ahead and use what you want with my bug pictures. I saw a little creativity with a bee picture, that you might like. It's on a site that I put a lot of my insects on to get identified. Here's the link to the bee image.
Touché!! Good god! You never came back did you?!?
Aside from all that, glad I discovered your galleries. Excellent work! And, a kid?!? Well done sir. Gus
Hallo Erich!
Congratulations for your animation galleries.
Love your work!
How you doing? I love your work. I will be In Washington DC on Saturday September 24th and will be taking photos of the event. Look for them on Sunday or Monday
ahhh, my panos are coming, havent really had time >_<
Thanks for your comments! I'm not sure, but I believe that the rodent speared by the Heron was a gopher. BTW, I really enjoyed your galleries! The IR images are particularly well done!! I've added you to my "Favorites".
I'm a weekly newspaper reporter in Maine (USA), doing a story on research here involving the linyphia triangularis species of spider. Found a high-res image on one of your Web site. Can we use this photo with a photo credit to illustrate my story? Please advise. Many thanks, -- Tom Walsh
Wow, you've got some great photo galleries
keep up the good work
Herzliche Grüsse aus dem endlich Sommerlichen Berlin !
thanx for sharing your talent
Erich, You are duelling with the unarmed up at the child pornography discussion with that stupid woman mysticchyna or whatever. How funny, how sad! And the US is populated by so many of them. I know, they voted for Bush. Please, stop by my thread and say something about Photoshopped nudes?
Denounce them, support them, whatever you wish. While you are at it, please come by my site again? Thanks, Ellsworth Weaver
Nunes BEIRAO - PHOTO
It is always a delicious adventure "travelling" through all your magnificent works and, besides, a rare opportunity to take some lessons, "free of charge", about the real concept of photography.
You are, obviously, among the Top 10 best (and mainly most creative) Artists on PBase!!!
I forgot to sign your guestbook...as have been too busy looking at your photographs over the last year (since I came on PBase). Whenever I get sleepy I look at them and they always wake me up...very creative..sometimes astounding but never dull. I never know what I will find new. Thanks for sharing your creations...and your photos too. Keep the fire burning - without exploding that is the trick...hahaaa
Viele, vielen Dank.
F García Robles
Gracias por compartirlas.
Saludos desde España
Erich, I discovered you through ... Frimpong. I had the pleasure of browing your galleries, very beautiful indeed. Thanks for sharing. Adrian
very nice photos, love your cameras, your photos are very sharp, the black and white are very good quality, I can teach you more about photography. Dr L Lam

With humour, you are producing something different...
I find your work to be very uplifting and intriguing. I keep coming back for more. Thank you for sharing your talent and your wonderful sense of humor :)
Dear Mr. Mangel! Ihre Gallery ist eine Offenbarung. Ob Freund oder Feind, keiner kommt an Ihren bemerkenswerten Fotos vorbei... Alles Liebe & Gute fuer Sie! Love Angela ;)
glad you enjpyed my Chinese 007 poster.... it was only showin chinese restaurants!!!! enjoyed your site: especially the flowers (that's my specialty).. nice crisp shots with excellent composition.
Thanks for visiting my Galleries...
So cynical, so loving, so enticing, so SCHWIERIGE... ;-)
I hate those little wooden men. BUT, you have made me smile in that gallery so you get a gold star AND a comment in your guestbook!! (Damn you are a lucky man!)
yes i'm only 1 day old. I come from my web site www.abeautifulrevolution.com
hi erich: your work is superb! i love it! i linked to your site via toni moore's galleries (i love her work, too!). the other day i got so lost in your galleries that i almost missed an important appointment. each time i dare return here, i get lost in it again...now this time I'm about to miss my appt with the sandman.(((yawn))) so i am outta here! i shall return often but i must not allow myself to stay so long! (btw, i am hoping you keep your political galleries up even after the election. i am recommending it to a friend who is an art dept chair to use as a teaching reference.) great work! best wishes, retha
Thank you for your comments on my Prague, Budapest, Vienna and Bratislava gallery. It's still under construction -- I just don't have time to process many of my pictures! I also quite enjoyed your Wien and Bush galleries. (The Wien gallery allowed me to see the many things I didn't because I was only there for two days or so, unfortunately.) I was curious -- you wrote "Hofburg" on my image of the two women dancing in the gate to the palace; is that the name of it? That picture was just luck; I didn't know them, they must have been moved by Vienna and suddenly started to dance!
Dear Mr. Erich Mangl,
Hello. I would like to SINCERELY thank you for your anti-Bush gallery, My Sight Of Things,
Personally, I do not gravitate to, nor indulge in, such illustrative rhetoric. I think that this (fight) is much closer to home, and in such being so, needs to be handled and dealt with by other means. You see, here in the USA, Florida, Tampa-Saint Petersburg area (all of these United States) the question of Bush and his policies is not just a matter of right and wrong, but also a matter of life and death! I do not belittle nor criticize your political expressions but embrace its underlying cause. I just feel that nothing can be accomplished through such sophomoric tactics. As I stated, I SINCERELY appreciate your gallery; but CHANGE will not be forthcoming through a strategy such as yours.
Education and activism is the key. Educating oneself, not just through daily newspapers and broadcast television news (for non cable subscribers) but also THROUGH ALTERNATIVE SOURCES such as BBC World. Balance is key. We have here in this area a COMMUNITY RADIO STATION, WMNF 88.5 radio available on air and on the web to expand our horizons. Also activism, engage your Federal and state representatives, become involved with the political process. Write, email and visit your representatives. Let them know how you feel. AND VOTE!
I would like to say sir, that there was one image in your gallery I did particularly enjoy. It was Easy Guy,
It resonates and exemplifies the righteous dalliance of Bush as opposed to his handlers postulate. Amen!
Please, please understand. WE, are on the frontlines. Thank you.
Thank you for your time,
Oscar says: Leuk spel, best verwarrend!
(nice game, rather confusing).
Keep up the good work Erich
Haha, Nice banner, sir. Much appreciation :) Keep up the good work and Definitly keep up the good humor! Lord knows we need more of it.
Wow, what a trip that was. An amazing body of work. So many different styles and types of work. Really a fun time. Thanks so much for all the effort.
Erich, I'm so glad that I found your galleries. I don't know how I might have missed them before! What a talented person you are. I only had a quick peek at your galleries, but I will be back later to visit them all. Thanks for sharing your work. Your animations are terrific!
Erich, I can tell I'm going to have a lot of fun going through your galleries! Great work.
Thanks for visiting my galleries and for thoughtful comments. This helped me to discover your site: what a beauty! I love your Vienna gallery, it brought back many fond memories. I shall be definitely back
Thanks for sharing
That's one kewl snake ya have as your photo!!!
It caught me off guard... :S
Dude, some of the pictures in the Bush-Bashing area portraying Jesus are just wrong. Sorry. You have issues. It ain't art. It's just trying to be perverse. Not defending Bush, because he's not the best prez either. Made a lot of dumb decisions (but some good). But do you want Kerry? He's got an excellent face to fool around with, I guess...
Did see some other pictures that were good!
Well that's my opinion.
He eric, I have been all over your websites, links and guestbooks,
but i cannot find your email address!
Well it was worth the trip, I have seen many weird things on the way.
Just wanted to tell you that we made our own art-phot-thingy-website-review-forum-thingy
for the fun of it, and this way we can put in all our ideas.
Maybe you want to have a look or join up!
Guess that link should read:

I want to thank you for the fantastic logo you made for www.seedsofdoubt.com.
I'm glad to see unlike some of these right wing jackoffs leaving you messages, you realize that there are thinking americans fighting this braying jackass of a president. From the moment that he was appointed in a historically unprecidented Supreme Court 5-4 split decision, he has run amok. In every regard he is the worst president I have ever seen in my 32 years. I find myself musing sometimes what it would be like to agree with a single domestic or foreign policy decision made by the Bush administration. Try as I might, I can't find one. I was glad he appointed Colin Powell but he blew that by marginalizing his good advice and co-opting his once internationally respected reputation for honesty to spread his lies and "faulty intelligence". I argue that the real faulty intelligence lies with the roughly 50% of our country that loves the guy.
The escape hatch from this social and political disaster is available to Americans on Novber 2nd. The nation could not wait to throw his daddy out. People of all ages, races, sexes, and ecomonic background came out to send the guy back to private citizenship. We must do the same this time around. The very veracity of his first election is the most challenged in the history of our country.
Remember what the first term has been like:
1) Historically massive job losses
2) A dramatic turn from the largest budget surplus in the history of the country to the largest budget deficit in the history of the country
3) Imposition of the Doctrine of Premption, a policy that by its very nature depends on the ability of our government to access absolute iron clad intelligence about the capabilities of the country's enemies. The unbelieveable level of innacuracy in our intelligence has clearly shown this national security policy to be completely untennable.
4) The first attack on the United States since 1949 despite clear indications from the same intelligence services that a large attack was coming fom several months in advance. There were clear indications that the attack would likely come in the form of a hijacking and the administration never even sent a memo to the airlines suggesting hightened threat. The prepetrators of the attack are for the most part still at lage and planning new attacks. Yet Bush claimes he is keeping up safe.
All of that and much much more was accomplished in a short three years while facing the need to run for reelection. Just imagine how he will act when he has a 4 year lame duck administration with no need to face reelection.
You are clearly making the right minded folks of the world happy and pissing off the rest. That's the best we can do. Keep up the great work. Less than 80 days now.

Hating Bush and Loving It,
Dear Erich Mangl,
I am curator for the invertebrates at the Natural histori Museum of Lugano (Ticino, Switzerland). I'm sorry to pass via the guestbool, bur I havent'found your E mail addres.
The shop coop, one the most widespread shop in our Canton, asked us to collaborate with them for the calendar 2005, dedicated to the relationship between nature and people. September is dedicated to the Macroglossum stellatarum. Unfortunately we dont'have got any good dias or photo of this species; on internet, on the site www.leps.it I found yours superbes photos on this species on the site of Pittaway and leps.it. I would like to know if it is possible to use yours photos; we can pay a copyright of 60 EUR. There is non commercial purpose abut this calendar (it is given as present at the end of the year to the clients of coop shops).
Please let me know your decision as soon as possible

Sorry man, left out the "h" bad typing.
Wonderful, bizarre, surreal, sense of humor. Frank Zappa in pictures.
Terrific galleries. Great tongue in cheek, acerbic Bush bash.
Keep it up.

I don't hate you, but I think the secret service will be paying you a visit real soon, they have a bone to pick with you. Keep your eyes open, they are very interested in you punching animation. Have a nice day. :-P
wrong, fool: i neither hate "the usa" nor "the jews", but i hate people like Bush and you

Hello, I enjoyed your photos.Thx for sharing. :)
Very impressive and creative work

Greetings from New Jersey, USA. Your Welcome. Very nice animations. Funny too. As a consientious American, I must say that your gallery criticizing the US is not insulting to America itself, but is truthfully describing our president and his policy. I really like your macro pictures as well. What camera don you use for it?
Enjoyed your work a lot. Very creative!
copywrited, yeah ! greetings to Israel
Paparazzi pictures are still copywrited you imbecile

You knew the difference between witty repartee and trite sarcasm...I miss the wit and the images.
These are beautiful galleries, Erich. I will return here often. This is a great site too.
You photos are intriguing, interesting and well shot. Keep posting this stuff!
Went and had a look at your profile on photosig and saw your link to pbase.
I started out on pbase as well some time ago.
The pictures I've submitted here are not the kind I'm making and submitting now.
It was a pleasure browsing through your pictures here.
