Outdoor kitchen. Bantul
During the rebuilding works,( the whole house is destroyed) the kitchen is outside; this woman just telled me their story, the feelings have been too powerfull and she stopped, unable to prevent the tears.
After a while, I made this image, before leaving them.

They actually live under this blue canvas,in the school ground; while the house is being rebuilded.
In it, remain the cups he won during birds contests exhibitions; under the shelter,close to the family, the living birds in their cages.
They invited me to drink some tea, after driving me in the debris...welcoming in all conditions....

They live outside now, under tent now, they don't have faith in their house.

A great disaster for her, but they can rebuild: many families in the neighbpourhood are just sitting on their recuperated bricks, no money to buy materials...
