The Itaipu Dam of the Parana River is one of the world's biggest hydroelectric stations of the world. The animals that were living in the now flooded region were relocated to a stripe of rainforest at the lake's boundary that today serves as a biological reserve. A fish channel, surpassing the dam abd interleaved by resting ponds, allows fish to migrate. This gallery is devoted to my visit to the Itaipu dam and the nature that surrounds it.
