The delta of the Danube is a rich and unique natural landscape in Europe, which due to its inaccessibility and natural protection is still widely untouched by industry. This album was recorded during a three day visit of the Sulina region in June 2015. The region has different types of landscapes, such as sand plains, oak forests, reed jungles, and greater lakes. Moreover, in the villages a diverse style of reed architectures can be seen. We explored the delta region by small boat and by horse, all arranged by my kind host family in Sulina.
Technical notes: The photos were taken with a Nikon D300S and a Nikkor 300mm objective and a Tamron 18mm lens. Postprocessing of NEF using Lightroom 5.4.
