21 - Troonrede

Den Haag view map

As I wrote yesterday: Prinsjesdag is the day on which the reigning monarch of the
Netherlands addresses a joint session of the Dutch Senate and House of Representatives
in the Ridderzaal or Hall of Knights in The Hague. The Speech from the Throne (troonrede)
sets out the main features of government policy for the coming parliamentary session.
I watched it from behind my (not so clean) desk at the office

Ik vind dit een fantastisch idee!
Mooie foto. De actiepunten zijn volgens mij door iedereen bestudeerd, een leuke detail!

Well composed with the clutter of doing work...

In 1980 I really didn't like her as our new queen.
I was in favour of the idea that the Netherlands should become a republic.
Nowadays I really like her, she is in this uncertain times, like a lighthouse in the surf.
I like her as a person but I'm not content with the institute "Kingdom"
Mooi idee Maaike en vooral de actiepunten!!! :-)

I like this and I'm glad that you included your desk notes and papers. It shows that we all have to work, even the Queen. :)

Looks like you are busy here too! Nice idea to show!
Ps.Isn´t it that there was incident, where a heavy candleholder was thrown at the carriage?

Great image. Really clear and it shows you are working hard with stuff around. :)

Interesting insight into the workings of your government. Here in Canada the representative of the Queen of England delivers a similar speech.

Nice idea and it came out really well. Monitors do not lend themselves to photography easily. Looks like a long Troonrede. :)
