Hello Everyone,I must say this is a beautiful site.I have left nigerian for more than 20 yrs & anytime am home i always visit warri & other states in nigeria.but the truth been said i have been in warri now the past 3wks & i must say i am disappointed with the way this our beautiful warri is turning too.u cannot dress good, meant u cannot put on jewelries when going out all because of robbers, compared to other cities in nigeria that u can go out any time and have fun.
All the same warri people u are all Favour In Jesus Mighty Name.Amen

I have been here in 1980, a lot changed, Warri is very modern now. I mis the bridgerobbers and aunties kitchen, gare, bush meat. There are good roads now. Warri was the ash of the world. I like the sunsets on the river, the fires and the african music during the night. anyway Warri was a good and dangerouce place. Warri you will never forget in your life.
In 1980 there was no aids in warry, maybe life was different there. I made my shoppings on the muslem marced it was more secur there. Its was difficult to drive from Airport Rd. to Enerhen Rd, walking was much faster. Its better to have in Warri good friends. Warri is not a place for tourists, someone has to take you from the airport, you never know what is going to happen when you are walking on the street, during the night you have to be in your house.

Area,me i be proper warri boy. we day stay 4 marine quarter b4 and i attend alero primary school (catholic school)inside marine quarter. though na lagos i de now, i still love warri. warri 4 life. i pray 4 ever lasting peace in warri.Amen.

O Wafi as we use to call it is one of the greatest and most beloved cities in the world, though small and dirty, but it has produce very great men.I used to live there but no matter where i go, i still fel that i belong there, Oh wafi, you are my belove of all cities that i have been to through out the whole world.I pray that peace reigns supreme in warri, that is why most people left, for proffessionally the practice of ones noble proffessions in oil and gas industry was jeopadised. All waring tribes, Ijaw, Urhboho, Itsekri, please leave together as in the times of old.Wafi is great.

Hah... I remember the little airport in Warri where the twinotters would land from Lagos... I would walk a few miles to get to the airport and sneak into the kitchen/cantine with my buddies where this huge lady would make us hot chocolate... why a kid would like hot chocolate in the heat of riverdelta is beyond me now :)
