Rachel and I took a ride up the Maui north west coast which is very rugged and quite beautiful. There is a point where the road narrows to one lane with no place to pull over as there is a unprotected cliff down on one side and a cliff up on the passenger side. It is a two way street.....Once we started on it, we could not go back. It was a knuckle whitening experience!!!! The first photo of Rachel is before we hit the one lane track and the last is as we were coming to an area where we could stop and unwind from the muscle spasms of the last three hours. We read the guide book later which said many folks look like they bungee jumped over the fires of hell when they come down off that part of the road......Rachel was not amused. I thought it was fun after it was all over. The rays in those photos were taken from high on a cliff that you can see in the photo before the three shots. I saw what I thought was triangular trash and zoomed in. They were really cool.
