The famed double star Porrima, in the constellation Virgo, was photographed on Monday, June 6, 2011 using a Questar Duplex and an Imaging Source firewire monochrome camera. The photo is very tightly cropped. It is a stack of 27 images taken at 1/20 of a second at f/14. The close double was separated by only 1.7" of arc. You can see the diffraction pattern around the stars.
