Nathan Braun, a Pius XI high school graduate, poses with a large, blown-up version of a freehand gown design at his Brookfield home on Monday, June 29, 2009. He created the drawing for a class project art portfolio and had the drawing enlarged at a copy print center. The original drawing is at Pius. The drawing helped earn him a scholarship at the Fashion Institute of Design and Merchandising in Los Angeles.
