Japanese macaque monkey

A Japanese macaque monkey at the Iwatayama Monkey Park in Arashiyama, Kyoto, Japan. The commercial park is a the peak of Mt. Arahsiyama on the western edge of Kyoto. The monkeys are wild and uncaged, and visitors walk among the monkeys along a steep trail that leads to the top of the hill.
