The Slinger HIgh School marching band battles wind and snow during a practice march around the school on Saturday, Dec. 6, 2008. The band was scheduled to march in Allenton, but director Dave Hanke rescheduled the practice at the high school due to wintery weather. The band will march in the 2009 London New Year's Day Parade.
