M-20 (left) the Trifid and M-8, the Lagoon Nebula

M-20 (left) the Trifid and M-8, the Lagoon Nebula in Sagittarius. A 40-minute exposure using E200 film and a Hasselbad 500 C/M with a 350mm f/5.6 lens at Harrington Beach State Park on July 4, 2005. It was taken at the same time as the previous photo, with both a Nikon 500mm and the Hasselblad on the same mount. You'll also see a common hazard of long exposures using medium format film - the lower part of the frame is out of focus, due to film creep.

Very nice exposure regardless of the problem which I also have with my Pentax 67. I've since added a vacuum film back to hopefully cure it. I'm guessing no push process as it's a very smooth looking frame with nice stars.

I have the same issue with my Pentax 67 Ernie - hopefully cured by the addition of a vacuum film back.

It is still a very nice exposure of this wonderful area of the galaxy. Very nice star colours. Did you have the film pushed at all? Very smooth result so I'm guessing no push.
