Northern Lights

A bright display of Northern Lights, or the Aurora Borealis, are seen from the shore of Lake Michigan at Whitefish Bay, Wisconsin, in November 2004. The constellation Auriga can be seen rising in the east, just above the horizon. In the foreground is my son, Michael.
