What is a forehand? What is a flick? What is a two finger?

A forehand is a flick is a two finger. This throw
is released from the the throwing hand on the strong
side of the body. In the picture above, the Forehand
has just been released. Most of the disc's momentum
comes from a snap of the wrist. The snap of the wrist
is similar to the motion made when throwing a curveball
in baseball. The arm's motion, however, contributes less
force. The forehand throw usually originates below the
shoulder (around waist level). This throw is usually
the beginner's biggest impediment to playing ultimate
competently, as it is not a movement that players are used
to prior to ultimate experience.
