For those who are not familiar with this subject, the pictures in this gallery are not photoshop manipulation, the trails are actually created by the stars that 'burning' the film/ccd in a long exposure picture.
The rotation of the earth is causing to these trails to show up on the picture surface and the duration of exposure determines the trails' length.
