One of us found this young poor little fella during a walk one early August morning near our house. It had probably been hit by a car, judging by the injuries. It couldn't walk anymore, but did try to bite a few times.
We phoned the animal ambulance who collected the fox an hour later. A couple of days later we were told the vixen had been taken to a rehabilitation centre in Belgium. We contacted them and were pleased to hear that she was already doing a lot better and would be re-released into the wild after full recovery. We hope she is still out there and doing well!
The pictures were taken with a mobile phone, so not of the best quality.
