These paintings were done by Sudanese painters in the kakuma refugee camps in Kenya. They will become part of a permanent collection documenting the experiences of the South Sudanese people during the civil war. Some are for sale. The Sudanese Education Fund is looking for donors to purchase the paintings and donate them back to the collection.

You guys did a great job that keep us awake about the hardship we all passed through and the future that we are looking too.
I am very pleased to see these paintings, and I think we will not forget the atrocities committed by our former foe!
It is good that we have people like you guys who still have very much ambititions about our homeland.
God will bless you and keep on with the courage and determination that will pull South Sudan out of that predicament!
Cheers
