This is MSG (monosodium glutmate) slowly crystalized on a slide.
The MSG was dissolved in water, then isopopyl alcohol was added.
This decreased the solubility of the MSG. The crystals grew slower
than other MSG images (coral and kelp) and had a different appearance.
