Novisad is the worse shithole in all of that gr8 shithole thats called serbia. Petrovaradin was stolen from hungary and all hungarians where made to leave Yugoslavja by tito after ww2. But now after what happened to cossovo there is hope that novisad as the serbs call it will be returned where it rly belongs. Hope that we have a chance to return the favor to serbs living in voivodina for the crimes the commited against the magyar nacional element of petrovaradin

Ovi komentari su vam bas kriticni, pogotovo ovi neki sto nesto sada hoce da naprave nas najlepsi srpski grad na svetu madarski, kako vas bre nije sramota.Otidi u kac pa ces da vidis koliko ces da nades ljudi koji pricaju ispravan srpski jezik. Nice photos. It's very rare to see some photos with sunny Novi Sad due to constant mist or air polution.

It is a beautiful city with very fine people. I can't help to wonder why they don't restore those historical buildings?! Too many graphites throughout the town.

Zotya, Novi Sad always had at least 75% of the Serbian population and it was established by Serbs in 1690. as Ratzenstadt ( it means Serbian town in german).
Of course catholic culture was and is very important for Novi Sad but no need to falsificate history.

Γκρίζο το τοπίο γκρίζες και οι αναμνήσεις μου από το Novi Sad.
Οφείλω να ομολογήσω όμως κάτι… από το 2000 έως το 2003 που έφυγα έγιναν πολλές αλλαγές στην πόλη. Φαντάζομαι ότι με αυτούς τους ρυθμούς σήμερα θα είναι μια εντελώς διαφορετική και ομορφότερη πόλη.

Ps. Ντροπή σε όσους βρίζουν εδω, το μόνο που καταφέρνουν είναι να επιβεβαιώνουν την ηλιθιότητα τους!

I don't agree with that comment Vasilis, I think Greek cities are awesome especially Thessaloniki and Athens. Belgarde is our Athens and Novi Sad is our Thessoliniki. What are you talking about. Most people that visit Novi Sad and Belgrade will tell you that Novi Sad is the city to be in. Not too big, not too small, just perfect. Nice galleries Ilias, Novi Sad is nowhere near as wonderful as Belgrade but some of the old town keeps the charp, the cathedral is beautiful inside and out, until I got there, I never noticed the many coloured patterns on the spire that are similar to St. Basil's in Moscow (except it's got domes). I like Novi Sad but it has got lots of work to become how it used to be. If you are visiting Serbia for the first time go to Belgrade for awsome nightlife and...well......basically everything. But a couple of days in Novi Sad will not leave you disappointed. LONG LIVE SERBIA & GREECE, friends FoReVeR!!

I disagree with pesimistic people who critisize the appearance of my city today...I am really proud to have lived whole my life in Novi Sad...we hada difficult period 6 yrs ago,but the point is in how fast somebody rises from a disaster,...and I thin we did a great job...both people and city's architecture...it's a true European city,with beautiful streets (ok,roads could be better :) ),in which one can easily find his way through.Very pleasant people and a lot to see.

IVANA...Iako zivim daleko od moje domovine, uvek mi je u srcu i dusi. Trenutno sam na Floridi. Sledece godine zavrsavam studije i vracam se kuci. Planiram da ostanem najmanje godinu dana, a za posle cu da vidim. Jedva cekam da prosetam ulicama Novog Sada i da se iskljucim iz ove Americke propagande. Ko zna mozda se i vidimo tamo. Pozdrav

Hello! I have been in Serbia-Novi sad (Iam from Greece-Athens) in july for the Exit Festival.My impressions for the Novi Sad and all the people I have met and discuss with them are the best. I saw very positive young people and thats the point for me. If i think what happened before 6 years and what i see this summer in Petrovaradin Fortress -this it doesnt look misery to me it looks me progress! Of course all the cities have problems as unemloyment etc. I think that every country should have its own character and vibe and in Novi Sad you feel the positive vibe.
I will be there next summer too and i will try to stay more days to learn more things about every day life.
I wont say anything for the fest ,it was just excellent!!!!!

Beautiful gallery. The perspective on Serbia from Bosnia, Croatia, Slovenia is still very negative since the war so you don't often see Novi Sad and Beograd in the media in a nice way. It reminds me, to see it, of Yugoslavia before Milosevic. I haven't been to Srbija since 1990 and I probably will never so pictures and galleries like this, it's nice.
