All pictures in this gallery were taken by my lovely wife Vera during her last trip to Russia. She is no longer with us... Overcast was truly distractive factor in some cases, so the colours and the beauty of Moscow & St.Petersburg landmarks are slightly spoilt. These are one of the most wonderful cities in the world, and definitely jewels of Russian architecture. All pictures have music background as mix of Russian folk songs, classics and modern schlagers :-) You might leave comments in Russian, English, French, German, Spanish and Italian .

Hi Eldar ! Thank you: You've actually helped me make a major decision ... I will get married this fall - in eighter Moscow or St. Petersburg ! I've never wanted an "ordinary" wedding, and I've often thought of Russia as a "cool" place for the ceremony. Looking at your pictures was just what I needed ! I've told my girlfriend - and she likes the idea. Moscow, she sais, is a little risky (terror ...) - but St. Petersburg brought on a big smile ! So: Thank you, Eldar ! Thanks for visiting my galleries, I have always loved Moscow and I made a big mistake turning down an offer from my former University in Belgrade to travel there. I will go as soon as I can, I can't wait to walk the what was always a great symbol of Communist greatness for me; Red Square!! Voted my Russian Slavic brother.

This is technically very, very nice gallery. Colors are just amazing. I travel often and I have found it very difficult to shoot great cities like Paris or Venice lately. The challenge is to capture the feeling of the place and at the same time avoid the standard angles and views which are alredy immortalized in many millions of postcards. I see that you face the similar challenge.
