This soup is cooked with "angel hair" pasta, roasted ground beef, roasted red pepper, onions and basil, some unbelievable Andean potatos and spices and covered with poached egg... The taste is beyond any description !
Honestly, I was shocked to such an extend that I revised my personal understanding of culinary as pertains to appreciation of national merits... I am happy, this particular image of mine meets your approval ! In general, I think it's not too bad at all, but all this was rather driven by majestic food experience, and no bupkas... When it comes to Peruvian cuisine, all I might note is that French and Mexicans have to work really hard to ensure that their crown is sitting firm on their heads ... still !
Hello Eldar. This is not Venice nor is it Paris. It is not New York, nor is it Vienna. It is not a place where you would expect fine cuisine. When thinking of Peru, I think of nomadic. red faced people, living high in the Andes. roughing the high altitudes and harsh weather conditions. But your photos of fine foods from this little understood land has given me a whole new perspective of how I should look at Peruvian culture.... and at the very least, you have also made me extremely hungry and thirsty for these good looking dark and delicate looking red wines. Ciao, Michael.
