We had great expectations for this wine coming from Australia with hefty price of $ 17.5 CAD... Though well balanced with good medium body, sparkling violet hints and having wonderful nose of gooseberries, this wine did not pass our degustation as it was relatively thin and sort of plain. Yet, dinner was saved by astonishing whole portobellos mushrooms stuffed with goath cheese and layered with strips of marinated and roasted chicken, mixed with sauteed red/yellow peppers and sesam sprinkled steamed spinach, holy macaroni !
