This one of the very noble French wines from Cotes Du Rhone representing mix of Grenashe and Syrah. As most wines from this region of France, it is medium bodied wine with very aromatic nose reminiscent wild roses and vanilla. The bouquet is absolutely delightful,- with strong flavor of dried plums, touch of sour cherries and hints of passion fruit. Pirce is relatively high at $18 CND, but it is worth every penny, simply exclusive ! Highly recommended with oven baked dried tomato gnocchi and filet of duck with glazed roasted cipollini onions, holy macaroni !
