Michael, this tale touched my heart and made me looking deep inside of labyrints of my soul... Though, I cannot remember that I experienced the same impact on my sight while looking at organ... Hello Eldar. When I was a child, growing up in Brooklyn, my neighborhood friends who went to Catholic School used to tell me these fantastic stories that I could not believe. They would tell me that their nuns informed them if they played with their organs, they would go blind! And what was really fantastic was that my friends accepted the truth of the nuns' warning as Gospel truth. Now I had forgotten all about these tales until now when I gazed upon this photo.... and now I have figured it all out. This organ... this is the organ, the very organ the nuns were referring to... if you should even look at this incredibly colorful, highly saturated and blazingly bright contraption for any prolonged period of time, you would indeed certainly go blind:) Just thought you would want to know.
